High Heeled Totter - Sponsored charity walk

Written 14/07/08

In heels for only 1 mile!! All in aid of registered charity

Arthur Rank Hospice

Saturday 20th September 2008; meeting at the Green, Histon at 10.30 am

Whilst our family is experiencing a traumatic time we have proactively used our positive energy to help raise money for Arthur Rank Hospice. But to make all our efforts worth while we are asking for as many people to join us on a 1 mile walk in Histon wearing . . . . . . . Yep . . . HIGH HEELS!!

Arthur Rank is a self funded hospice that we are very fortunate to have, however, to cover the costs of running this comforting place they desperately need all the help they can get.

This is now a personal plea. . . Please contact Sharon on 01223 233226 to register and obtain a sponsorship form. Should you feel unable to do the totter then please, please, please place a donation in the collection box in Daisy Chain, Histon.

We will be delighted to see everyone supporting us all on the day to cheer us on!!

Arthur Rank Hospice, my family and I truly appreciate you taking the time to recognise the need to help local cancer patients and their families.

Every registered sponsored walker and contributing business will receive a personal thank you after the event revealing the grand total of this positive yet heart wrenching challenge!!

Everyone is welcome to join in the fun of tottering around Histon. Children are more than welcome to join in the walk too!!
