Histon and Impington Fireworks Extravaganza 2013This year's Firework Extravaganza will be held on Saturday 9 November at Impington Village College.
Gates open at 6pm with the fireworks at 7pm. There will be a BBQ and hog roast run by David Robinson with a range of hot drinks, cakes available too. Plus a small fairground to keep young children amused.
Advance tickets are available now from Tucker Gardner, Jane's Frames, the Chop Shop and Station Stores. Advance tickets are cheaper and you'll avoid queues on the night.

The show is one of the most exciting in the region, and raises money for the three schools in the village, so come along on 9 November and enjoy a local, family-friendly show.

Solutions for independent living
If you have problems with everyday tasks, or if you care for someone who does, and want to find out about the advice and support that is available to help you to stay independent, safe and well, NRS Healthcare's mobile demonstration unit provides advice and information about:
- equipment and aids to help with daily living
- assistive technology resources
- adult social care support
- health information available from your library.
If you have any unwanted equipment you will also be able to return this by bringing it along and dropping it off at the mobile demonstration unit as part of an 'Equipment Amnesty'.
Anyone interested in finding out about solutions to help with daily living but unable to visit the mobile demonstration unit can also find information by:
- visiting Your Life, Your Choice Cambridgeshire's adult social care website
- using AskSARA an online guide providing advice and information about locally available equipment to help with day-to-day life
- visiting the library where staff and volunteers can help people to find information using Your Life, Your Choice and AskSARA
